Indiana Fever Remain in Playoff Contention with Road Victory

Fever Win 3rd Straight, Move to 6-10 on the Season

The Indiana Fever continued their recent surge in form with a hard-fought 84-77 victory over the Atlanta Dream on Wednesday night. The Fever, who have now won three games in a row, improved to 6-10 on the season and remain in the thick of the playoff race.

Keyla McBryde led the way for the Fever with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Victoria Vivians added 19 points and Breanna Stewart chipped in with 17. Tiffany Mitchell led the Dream with 20 points, while Elizabeth Williams added 16 points and 10 rebounds.

The Fever took control of the game in the second quarter, outscoring the Dream 28-16 to take a 46-35 halftime lead. McBryde was dominant in the first half, scoring 14 points and grabbing 7 rebounds.

The Dream cut the Fever's lead to just four points in the third quarter, but the Fever responded with a 10-0 run to take a 68-56 lead into the fourth quarter. The Dream never got closer than six points the rest of the way as the Fever held on for the victory.

With the win, the Fever remain in eighth place in the WNBA standings, just half a game ahead of the ninth-place Chicago Sky. The Fever will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to face the Connecticut Sun.
